Introduction to philosophy definition
Many other disciplines exist within philosophy. When most people think of philosophy, they are thinking of ancient Greek philosophy, a treasure trove of valuable insights and worldviews. In this sense, philosophy is concerned with the practical bits of how to live rather than a theoretical attempt to understand. The most important reason to study philosophy is that it is of enormous and enduring interest. These independent disciplines do have their own philosophies; so there is a philosophy of science, a philosophy of mathematics, a philosophy of psychology, and so on. The importance of studying philosophy
